Established in 2004, CMS Teamwear has grown to become 1 of the Premier Teamwear and Promotional Clothing Suppliers in Wales and the South West. This has been achieved with a fast turnaround on orders, good value for money products and strong relationships with our customers.

Our growth has seen our premises expand and our production capability grow to meet demand. Each year has seen the company invest more in machinery and equipment to increase our production potential.

CMS Teamwear Timeline:

2004 – CMS Teamwear is launched and sets up in an industrial unit in Coedcae Lane, Pontyclun. Machinery on site:1 Head embroidery Machine and a single heat press.

2005 – Machinery is acquired to produce our own transfers and numbers. A 2nd single head embroidery machine is also purchased.

2006 – The need for more machinery to cope with demand meant the premises was becoming too small. A mezzanine floor was installed and in came a 4 head embroidery machine.

2007 – A 3rd single head embroidery machine is purchased, taking the total number of embroidery heads to 7.

2008 – The premises is extended further taking the company into a second industrial unit. More equipment is acquired; this time it’s a Roland Versacamm enabling CMS to produce full colour transfers and banners on site.

2009 – Further growth required yet again, more machinery to cope with demand. A brand new 8 head embroidery machine is purchased taking the total number of embroidery heads on site to 15. A 2nd heat press is also bought.

2010 – 3 Single head embroidery machines are bought, taking the total embroidery heads now to 18 on site.

2011 – The 4 head embroidery machine is swapped for a 6 head machine meaning our current total number of embroidery heads on site is 20. The company takes on a 3rd industrial unit to be used as a Workwear trade counter/Showroom and storage.

2012 – A brand new M&R 6 Head Screen printer and all the equipment to make our own screens is purchased.
